Because I had so much fun live-tweeting The Grand Tour during the 48 Hour Book Challenge, I’ll be doing it again this weekend with the sequel: The Mislaid Magician or Ten Years After, using #mislaidmagician.
From the jacket summary, it seems that Cecy and James are dashing around Europe saving the world from dastardly plots while Kate and Thomas mind the couples’ many children (it’s 10 years later, remember?). Of course, all is not well on the home front, as the kids start displaying magical powers–rather scandalous in proper society (setting: well-to-do families in England during the 1820′s).
Authors Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer are back to the epistolary style, and for the first time writing from James and Thomas’ POVs as well. I look forward to dicing their carefully-worded correspondence into 140-character shreds.
